This change is set to take effect from the end of December, with the monthly subscription fee increasing to £3.99 and the annual subscription fee to £29.99. This is the first adjustment since the service's introduction in 2018. 

Auto-Assist accounts for for one-third of energy savings

Since the start of Auto-Assist tado° has continuously introduced new features to the service. Automated geofencing, open-window detection, Care & Protect, and the Energy IQ tool have significantly enhanced user experience and efficiency, helping tado° customers save 22 % on average on heating costs every year. Approximately one-third of all energy savings achieved in tado°-equipped homes can be attributed to the Auto-Assist service. This means that the Auto-Assist subscription will pay for itself and leads to more cost savings. This significant impact underscores our commitment to delivering solutions that genuinely enhance our customers’ homes’ energy efficiency.

Transition options for customers

tado° values its customer community and has made provisions for a smooth transition to the new pricing structure. Subscribers will automatically transition to the new pricing, with an option to switch to an annual subscription that offers a 37 % discount compared to the monthly plan. For those who wish to opt out, a cancellation process is available.
