Munich, 14. November 2022 - Today tado° announces that its Smart Thermostat Black Edition is now available in all European countries. With the Smart Thermostat Black Edition, tado° offers its users a new way to complement their interior designs and accentuate personal taste, after collaborating with the tado° community. 

While customers face increasing energy prices, tado° Smart Thermostats save on average 22% on heating costs per year. A collaboration with the tado° community 

Together with the community tado° worked on a solution for more people to take advantage of the smart features that tado° thermostats provide, whilst complementing their personality and interior design choices. After rounds of feedback, a dark display was one of the most requested features.

Dark Mode

For a unified experience, tado° also brought dark mode to the tado° app. tado° users have requested dark mode for aesthetic reasons, phone battery savings, or even for checking the temperature at night in dim-lit environments. With tweaked contrast and colours in dark mode, the tado° app complements the Smart Thermostat Black Edition or any existing tado° products. Dark mode can be activated in the device settings on iOS and Android.

Availability

The tado° Smart Thermostat Black Edition will be available in Starter Kits in both wired and wireless variants, as well as standalone as an add-on. Smart Thermostat Black Edition launches in all European countries at RRP €249.99 for the wireless starter kit, or €219.99 for the wired starter kit. In the UK, the Wireless Starter Kit is available on tado.com, or at Screwfix stores for £99. The Wired Starter Kit is available at tado.com in the UK for £179.99.
