Munich, 07.03.2024 - tado°, the European leader for home climate control and energy management solutions, is expanding its Professional programme for installers across Europe after a stunning first year.
tado° launched the Professional programme a year ago as an expansion to its previous cash back scheme after installers said they wanted a service that also offered expert training, dedicated phone support and extended warranties in addition to rewarding their loyalty.
The number of installers grew by 600 per cent in 2023 and the company has ambitious plans to expand that number across the Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain and the UK.
The company will be showcasing the benefits and its plans for tado° Professional at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort in Milan between March 12 and 15. In addition, tado° will be unveiling a significant new partnership with a major international brand on March 13 at the fair.
John Steven, tado°’s European Channel Director (Installer), said: “The installer community has really embraced the tado° Professional platform in numbers beyond our wildest expectations.
“We have big ambitions for the platform for the year ahead, including more lead generation to pair more consumers with professional installers within their locale and expanding more support for those installers.
“Before we launched tado° Professional, we ran a survey across a selected group of installers to review the platform and the feedback was that in addition to the loyalty reward scheme we were running, they wanted technical phone support, extended warranties and dedicated training because that would help grow their businesses.
“While tado° Professional does have a reward element to it, the longer term goal is marrying up the customer and the installer. We are about building a partnership with installers rather than creating a partnership and then taking it over. We are there to work hand-in-hand with the installer to build their business.
“What is good for the installer is good for the customer and is also good for tado°.”
tado° installers have received more than 1.3 million reward points over the past 12 months, spending them on gadgets, gifts, experience days, vouchers for Amazon and Aldi, a coffee in the morning or loaded them on to the Professional Mastercard. Forty-three installers have also used their points to donate to Plastic Oceans for its campaigning to clean up the world’s marine environments, fitting in with tado°’s ambitions of being an environmental and sustainability champion.
